Peninsula Wealth

Earn. Grow. Protect. Give

Our Process

Our Financial Planning Process

Establish Goals:

During the initial consultation, Peninsula Wealth works with clients to understand their goals and objectives. This may include:

  • Understanding income needs now and in retirement
  • Analyzing Current Cash Flow
  • Coordinating with tax advisor to understand yearly liability
  • Coordinating with Estate Attorney to review current trusts and Estate Plan
  • Understanding clients past investment experience and risk tolerance
  • Analyzing all assets and liabilities
  • Analyzing Education needs
  • Analyzing current investment holdings

Develop Strategy:

After establishing your goals and objectives, our Certified Financial Planner™ will utilize our resources and technology to customize a comprehensive Financial Plan for your family. While many other firms use the “cookie cutter” approach, we recognize that every client’s situation is different thus, requiring a unique plan for your unique needs.

Implement Plan:

Once our clients approve the strategy and plan, we will coordinate the implementation. This may include:

  • Consolidating assets
  • Rebalancing Portfolio
  • Investing in Education Plans which provide Tax Breaks for qualified Education purposes
  • Working with Estate Attorney to implement the Estate Plan
  • Working with a Tax Advisor to insure investment strategies we implement fit the overall tax minimization strategies

Monitor Solutions:

We are well aware that people’s circumstances change. Whether it is a birth of a child, employment changes, market fluctuations, or death in a family, a plan should never be set and forget. Our advisors meet with our clients at least once per quarter to ensure that we are proactively in front of these changes. In addition, we provide Peninsula Wealth clients exclusive access to events where industry leaders educate them on current strategies and updates, such as Tax Law changes, Roth IRA conversion, new Estate planning techniques, etc.

Keep it Simple. Keep it Affordable.

Peninsula Wealth only earns what the client and us agree upon in writing. We are not allowed to make any commissions or “kick backs” for products and services we recommend. Fee Only is often confused with “Fee Based” where a firm may also receive compensation for recommending certain products and services. This is why Peninsula Wealth has been winning a lot of business from the Brokers Dealers and Banks. We don’t have the same inherent conflicts that they do.
