Kristen Kaczmark has worked in the financial services industry since 1996. For the majority of her career, Kristen worked at Charles Schwab in a variety of different roles, most recently as a Financial Consultant / Vice President. During those 9 years, Kristen advised high net worth clients helping them with their wealth management needs including the implementation of investment strategies and development of comprehensive financial plans. Her focus is to continue this work at Peninsula Wealth and enhance the overall experience for clients of the firm.
Kristen has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland. In her spare time, you can find Kristen outdoors either hiking, running, or relaxing at the beach. She also enjoys cooking and is a big college basketball fan.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
While I enjoy following the markets and business news, as both are very dynamic and are a great way to stay involved with what is going on in the world. However, the part of my role that truly energizes me are the great client relationships I have developed over the years and building new ones. There is nothing more rewarding than assisting someone define their goals and dreams, developing the plan that will help achieve them, and being their trusted advisor along the way.
In your opinion what is the most common mistake you see investors make?
Time after time it is chasing market returns. Our clients have worked very hard at building their wealth, so we want to ensure they achieve their goals by helping them build diversified investment portfolio that is not only focused on capturing market growth, but also mindful of protecting against risk. We cannot predict when the next prolonged market downtown will occur and do not want a client to jeopardize their goals when it happens.
